Deciple of renowned Hindustani Classical Vocalist Pt. Laxaman Krishnarao Pandit ji of Gwalior Gharana, Dr Gunjan is a prominent Vocalist and a noted Ghazal Singer of India. Consecutively Gold Medalist in B.A.,M.A. & M.Phil. Double Masters  in Hindi Literature and Indian Music and a Graded AIR & TV Artist, Dr Gunjan has done his Ph.D.on the role of Music in Hindi Drama.

He has been awarded and felicitated by various Institutions including Delhi University, HP University, Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Pracheen Kala Kendra, Gandharv Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Sangeet Sankalp and Swar Sadhna foundation, Hindi Academy etc

Dr Gunjan has been broadcasted above hundred times on AIR & TV and performed all over India including Delhi, Mumbai,Kolkota,Chennai, Jaipur, Darbhanga, Jabalpur, Katni, Lucknow  and got warm reviews. He is a genuine Ghazal Performer with a unique style of Ghazal Singing and has a large number of young blood praiser.

Despite of being a praised singer, He is a good composer. He has given music direction and created music for various plays (Drama), TV Serials, Music Albums, Documentary Films, Bailey Dances etc.

Dr Gunjan is a  profound scholar. He has written and edited 4 books . Various chapters and articles published in several books, news papers,magazines and Journals.
